Ristoro Venacquaro

Located in the nearby village of Intermesoli, a little further down the valley from Prati di Tivo, this little corner of paradise is run directly by its owners, Lena, and her husband, Mario. They serve traditional Abruzzo cuisine, but the star attraction is porcini mushrooms and other local mushrooms, naturally picked by Mario in "secret" spots in the surrounding woods. Another dish from Lena's cuisine that will make your visit fresh in your memory is goat stew, made according to her personal recipe.
